Despite the rumors of network transfer, Carla Abellana yesterday renewed her contract with GMA Network for another three years.
Together with the contract signing is the news that she will be one of Richard Gutierrez’s leading ladies in the upcoming action-drama entitled Rancho Paradiso. Also in the series are Kokak stars Sarah Lahbati and TJ Trinidad, plus Gloria Romero, John Lapus, Mark Anthony Fernandez, Phillip Salvador, Mark Gil, Rio Locsin and Paolo Paraiso.
Carla’s last project with the Kapuso network was the afternoon drama Kung Aagawin Mo Ang Langit. She was rumored to transfer after that because GMA-7 allegedly has favoritism when it comes to giving projects. Carla, however, remains a Kapuso star with a big follow-up project to boot.
