Kris Aquino paid P32.3 million in taxes this year, according to the list recently released by the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
The Queen of All Media and presidential sister only ranked 17th overall but ranked 1st among the local celebrity tax payers.
Together with Kris, 5 more stars from ABS-CBN made it to the list of the top 10 celebrity tax payers this year. They are Sarah Geronimo, Piolo Pascual, John Lloyd Cruz, Kim Chiu and Boy Abunda.
Marian Rivera and Claudine Barretto, on the other hand, were the only Kapuso stars who made it to the top 10, while former Kapamilya stars Willie Revillame and Sharon Cuneta were the only ones from TV5.

Anne Curtis is set to star alongside Kris Aquino and Robin Padilla in the upcoming ABS-CBN primetime series titled “Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw.”
During the story conference for the highly-anticipated drama series “Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw” last February 2 at the 9501 Restaurant in ABS-CBN, Anne Curtis described her character as a rebellious and free-spirited younger sister of Kris Aquino‘s character.
Robin Padilla, on the other hand, will portray the role of a man torn in between two sisters (Kris and Anne).
Although it wasn’t divulged with the entertainment press if Anne Curtis will play the sensational “other woman” role in the said drama series just like what she did in the 2011 box-office hit movie, Kris Aquino dropped some hints on the conflict between their characters as sisters.
“Anne and I will represent lahat ng emotions na nararamdaman ng kababaihan when it comes to being in love. Excited ako also kasi we get to see the dynamics kung anong relationship ng magkapatid. In every family, we all have different characters so makikita n’yo how two women will relate to each other. Yung isa responsible, de numero, yun yung character ko,” Kris told the entertainment press.
Kris also explained that their teleserye will tackle and answer the following questions: “Sino ba ang mas may karapatan sa pagmamahal? Who will call the shots when it comes to love? The person who gave the love or the person who received the love?”
So perhaps the person who gave the love is Kris and the person who received the love is Anne and in the middle of the triangle is Robin Padilla.
The camera will start rolling for “Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw” on February 21. Bb. Joyce Bernal is said to return to the Kapamilya network to helm the said primetime series which is scheduled to premiere on the second quarter of 2012.
James Yap on the Approval of His Annulment Case: "Binata na ulit ako!"
Kris Aquino confirmed on her interview with bestfriend Boy Abunda (to be aired this Sunday, February 5, on "The Buzz") that her marriage with PBA star player James Yap has been annulled by the court.
Kris also revealed that the reason for the annulment was "lack of authority of the solemnizing officer," saying that it is null and void from the very beginning.
Kris and James met in February 6, 2005. James, who is 11 years junior than Kris, proposed to her on May 4, 2005 and got secretly married in May 28, 2005. The two repeated their civil ceremony wedding in Boy Abunda's Quezon City residence on July 10, 2005.
But is it true that James initial reaction, according to his lawyer Atty. Lorna Kapunan, when learned about the news was "Talaga? So, binata na ulit ako!"

Barely a year after it was filed at the Makati Regional Trial Court, the petition to annulled the marriage of estranged couple Kris Aquino and James Yap is now officially granted by the court.
In her exclusive interview with "The Buzz" (to be aired on Sunday, February 5) Kris revealed that the ground used by the court to officially nullify their marriage is the lack in authority of the officer who solemnized their marriage 5 years ago.
As mandated in *Article 213 of the revised family code, Kris was awarded custody of Baby James who will still bear the last name of his basketball player dad. James, on the other hand, was granted visitation rights.
