Asia's Queen of Songs Pilita Corrales will be joining other big names in the music industry as judges/mentors in the upcoming ABS-CBN talent-reality search The X Factor Philippines.
Earlier, ABS-CBN had already confirmed that 'Concert King' Martin Nievera, 'Mr. Pure Energy'Gary Valenciano and international singing sensation Charice Pempengco will be taking on the judges' seats. Now, it is confirmed that Ms. Pilita Corrales will be the 4th judge-mentor of The X Factor Philippines.
Pilita Corrales had been one of the judges in Philippine Idol (Philippines' Idol franchise) together with Maestro Ryan Cayabyab and Master Rapper (the late) Francis Magalona. This stint led her to be chosen as one of the judges of the very first Asian Idol competition held in Indonesia in 2007 (joined by Mau Marcelo) which was eventually won by Singapore's Hady Mirza.

Hosted by KC Concepcion, Kapamilyas get to showcase their singing prowess on The X Factor Philippines before millions of viewers and in front of million viewers and in front of four respected industry icons - Martin Nievera, Gary Valenciano, Charice and Pilita Corrales.
“The X Factor” is a world-renowned musical franchise by Simon Cowell that started in the UK. ABS-CBN bagged the exclusive rights to localize the program with KC Concepcion as host. The show will also give away the biggest prize for a talent search in the history of Philippine TV.
The X Factor Philippines will premiere this June 23, a week after the PBB Teen Edition 4 Big Night and will air during weekends..
