In an official statement sent to ABS-CBNnews.com on Saturday, May 5, Andi Eigenmann confirmed that she splashed wine on Albie's face but asserted that she had nothing to do with her alleged companions assaulting Albie.
“It was my first time seeing him face to face. He gave me a bad look and I felt really bad. I thought I have moved on but because of the incident wounds of the past came back.”
“I admit that out of impulse, I threw wine on his face, and the next thing I heard was he was being beaten up outside.”
“I ran up to ask him how he was. By his reaction and the way he was cursing at me, it seemed he readily thought I had something to do with it.”
“I was inside when it happened. I believe it should be acceptable for him to accuse me of such a thing, but I honestly don’t have anything to do with it.”According to Albie's mother, her son is now resting after going through a CT scan and other medical tests at the Makati Medical Center. The actor’s mother, however, has yet to confirm if Albie sustained serious injuries from the alleged clash with Eigenmann’s companions. Mrs. Casiño earlier also bared plans to file charges against those involved in the brawl.
