American Idol 2012 Top 8 Results Night: DeAndre Eliminated!
Falsetto master DeAndre Brackensick gets the boot on the Top 8 Elimination (Results Night) of American Idol Season 11, April 5 (April 6 in the Philippines). DeAndre sings Jammin' for his life but did not get the save votes from the 3 judges, even though Jennifer Lopez admits that she fought for him to stay.
Last night Joshua Ledet and Jessica Sanchez earned a standing ovation for their duet of Aretha Franklin and George Michael's I Knew You Were Waiting For Me, and are the first to get safety as members of American Idol 2012 Top 7. The two contenders will be joined by Colton Dixon, Phillip Phillips, Skylar Laine, Hollie Cavanagh and Elise Testone for next week's singing battle.
